President + COO - Douglas Stoakley

Doug is co-founder, President, and COO of ClearCam, bringing with him over 25 years of executive leadership experience building some of the best-known brands in Silicon Valley. Doug is responsible for the day-to-day operations of ClearCam and oversees all facets of the business. Prior to launching ClearCam with the founding team, Doug spent many years advising a range of startups and entrepreneurs on crafting their businesses and commercializing their technology as the founder of Bridge to Market Advisors and as an Entrepreneurial Advisor with the Innovation Center at the University of Texas at Austin Cockrell School of Engineering.

Doug’s focus on execution, speed, and innovation lead his drive to create value in the medical device and life science markets. Guided by the strong business principles he developed in domestic and international executive roles at NVIDIA, Logitech, and AMD, Doug brings an energy and commitment to success to ClearCam every day.

He currently serves as an advisor to the Austin Technology Institute and as a member of the Texas Health Catalyst Advisory Board at the Dell Medical School at the University of Texas at Austin. Additionally, Doug is a frequent speaker on technology commercialization trends as they relate to semiconductors, high-performance computing, AI, AR, and gaming.

Originally from Toronto, Doug, Julie, and their two children have lived in Austin, TX for over 20 years where they enjoy being midtown with their dog, Watson. He holds a B.A. in Political Science from Trent University and successfully completed NVIDIA’s NVLE residential executive program at the Stanford Graduate School of Business at Stanford University.
